Woodsfield, Ohio

This 1910 view shows the crowded area surrounding this classic wood depot on the Ohio River & Western Railroad, Ohio's longest lasting narrow gauge operation. The OR&W connected Zanesville with Bellaire on the Ohio River, across from Wheeling, West Virginia. Construction on this line began in 1877 and the road lasted until 1931. For more information on the OR&W, click Here.
