Arrow, Colorado

Arrow, Colorado was a scenic stop on the Denver, Northwestern and Pacific Railway also known as 'The Moffat Road'. Named for its builder, David Moffat, The Moffat Road was the first railroad constructed that provided a direct route west out of Denver over the Continental Divide. In this circa 1915 view,  passengers gather trackside to enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. The station previously  consisted of a log cabin-style structure that can be seen just behind the newer one. For more information on 'The Moffat Road', click Here.
