In 1901, the first trolleys began to carry tourists to the summit of Flagstaff Mountain in Mauch Chunk, Pennsylvania This circa 1915 view shows a crowd of visitors to the park boarding a trolley with a rather large front fender. The station looks as is if was built right on the edge of the cliff.
