The Los Angeles Limited

The train was one of the most luxurious trains on the rails at the time of its inauguration in 1905 by the Union Pacific Railroad. Operating between Chicago and Los Angeles, the Chicago & Northwestern Railway provided the motive power from Omaha through to Chicago. The two views below are a good indication of the sumptuous surroundings provided by a fine example of a "hotel on wheels".
