Northfield, Massachusetts

This is a circa 1910 card showing the neat station in Northfield, Massachusetts and was serviced  by the Boston & Maine Railroad at one time. Note the pilot on the locomotive. This is just a wonderful scene from the days when a train brought 
you to the station, but a horse and carriage brought you home.
